Moving “Downstream”– My Grandson and artist Barbara Hocker

Artist Barbara Hocker engages my 12 year old grandson in her installation of blue and green “waves” transforming the grey cement floor into a serene ocean floor. I gave him no direction as we walked into the space; he looked down and intuitively began to shift his body, emulating the curved lines of Hocker’s flowing white foam waters, capturing my grandson’s imagination!
